Polyester fabrics have better light resistance, in addition to poorer than acrylic, its sun resistance is better than natural fibre fabrics. Especially behind the glass, its sun resistance is very good, almost as good as acrylic.
Polyester fabric is good at resisting various chemicals. Neither acids nor bases do much damage to it, while it is not afraid of mould and insects.
